Tips & Best Practices

Quick Capture Workflow

Ideas can strike at any time. Wake up with an idea? Open the app, new project, type a description so you don't forget! Come back later to fill in project details at your own pace.

Image Management

Bulk upload multiple files at once. Tag images with keywords like 'reference', 'final', 'inspiration'.

Canvas Organization

Use pinch-to-zoom on touch devices, mouse wheel on desktop. Lock background images so you don't accidentally move them. Use 'Bring to Front' to create visual hierarchy.

Script Writing

Set a clear goal for each page. Link dialogues to character profiles for consistency. Use the notes field for artist direction.

Troubleshooting

Sync Issues

Problem:

'Sync failed' error appears

Solution:

Check your internet connection, re-authenticate Google Drive in Settings → Cloud Sync.

Storage Issues

Problem:

'Storage quota exceeded' message

Solution:

Export the project as ZIP, delete unused projects/images, or enable Google Drive sync to offload local storage.

Image Upload Issues

Problem:

Images won't upload

Solution:

Check file format (JPG, PNG, WEBP supported), make sure file size is under ~50MB, and check browser console for errors.

Canvas Performance

Problem:

Canvas is slow with many images

Solution:

Reduce the number of images on the canvas, lock items you're not actively moving, or reload the page to clear memory.
